The 2024 edition of e-P Summit closed with positive results. The Pitti Immagine event bringing together the digital innovation community that works for the international luxury and fashion industry, which took place on April 9 and 10 at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence, ended with growing numbers and consensus. The Summit saw the participation of 47 digital high-tech exhibiting companies (an increase compared to 33 companies last year) and offered a rich program of round tables, speeches, and presentations, with almost 30 events on the agenda in two days. The number of professionals grew to 800.

"We are very satisfied with the great quality of the speeches that took place on the Leopolda stage but also with the fruitful and intense contacts between the participating companies and the professionals who joined the event," said Raffaello Napoleone, ceo of Pitti Immagine. "The feedback, the innovative ideas, and the concrete solutions that emerged from these two days confirm how much e-P Summit has become a reference event: an unmissable opportunity for professionals of the field who want to face the challenges that fashion and the digital world are facing."

This edition focused on Artificial Intelligence and its applications in the fashion and luxury field, and among the new features is the Smart Factory area, dedicated to "intelligent" machinery and paradigm-based support technologies for the production of leather goods and clothing of Industry 4.0. During the event, the Innovation Call prizes for fashion tech start-ups launched by Pitti Immagine and UniCredit were awarded: the e-P Summit Innovation Award (5,000 euros) went to ZeroW. In contrast, the support of UniCredit Start Lab went to Cloov.

"A large audience of around 350 professionals from fashion, luxury, technology, and consultancy companies from all over the world had the opportunity to participate in discussion sessions, keynotes, interactive workshops, and intense networking, all focused on creating innovative digital strategies for fashion and luxury," commented Rinaldo Rinaldi, scientific director of e-P Summit. "Additionally, cutting-edge technological innovations were showcased throughout the Summit through showcases and hands-on demonstrations, giving attendees a preview of the solutions and technologies that could shape the future of the industry."
